Nelspruit, Swaziland and then the borderpost by Goba to Mozambique

Frustrated and confused by roaming and the only now and a again internet connectivity we decided to rather have the journey instead of missioning everyday to get internet. Meaning that we are behind schedule with our postings but with the help of Vodacom Mozambique and Skygistics ( Uni-Tech Moz Lda) we are picking up our simcards and hopefully we'll be uploading and keeping you up to date via our mobile phones.

From the beginning

After talking with Gabriel and John at the Golden Gate Sanparks they send me to the Golden Gate dam to get visuals of their water. Sanparks are doing lots to see to it that the water quality in the parks are of a high standard.

Liani busy packing. With the change form bicycle to motorbike came a whole lot of new challenges.

Martella du Preez from the CSIR SODIS team handing us our bottles that we'll be using to purify our water. For the past 5 years we have been drinking water straight from our streams and rivers, dams and virtually anywhere.

Ripples For Good...Motivating Change in the Waterways...It Starts with YOU!!

The Ripples for Good team comprises Liani Broodryk, Maria Botha, Dante and Katryn.  In part one of their epic journey, Liani and Maria along with their Jack Russell dogs, Katryn and Dante, will circumnavigate the entire boundary of South Africa and parts of Mozambique and Namibia.  The purpose of their journey will be to raise awareness and inspire public action surrounding the critical issues of water conservation and safe consumption in our communities.  They will do so alone and unaided, travelling via motorbike, bicycle, canoe, donkey cart and by foot during the various stages of their 16 500 km journey to promote “Ripples for Good”.
